I bring a strong background across both B2B and D2C brands, with hands-on expertise in all major sales channels, including retail, catalog, distribution, and eCommerce.
At the Chicago Tribune, I was tasked with launching two new revenue centers. First, I led the development of marketing for the Digital Plus subscription program which introduced a paid model for online content. I was then asked to create and launch the Chicago Tribune Store, a unique eCommerce platform offering sports collectibles and historical items.
I bring extensive direct-to-consumer (D2C) retail marketing experience, beginning with in-store and catalog marketing at Sears and expanding into eCommerce. I led the launch of two standalone online stores at Kiefer Aquatics and Enesco Gift, and successfully transitioned targeted products from distributor channels to D2C eCommerce at Chamberlain. This cross-channel experience gives me a strong understanding of how to align retail, catalog, distribution, and eCommerce to maximize revenue.
I have extensive experience working with traditional B2B manufacturers and distributors, leading the development and launch of new products across the tool industry, office and inventory supplies, and maintenance categories. In addition, I have successfully launched eCommerce platforms that bring traditional B2B products directly to consumers, creating new revenue streams and expanding market reach.
Through my experience at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois and Allstate, I have developed a strong understanding of both health insurance and auto/home insurance. I have led major marketing campaigns, including initiatives targeting seniors turning 65, teen safe driving programs, cross-selling across product categories, and roadside assistance memberships.
At Enesco Gift and the Chicago Tribune, I focused on selling collectibles to consumers through eCommerce channels. At Sears, I managed the Wish Book, Fine Jewelry, and Craftsman catalogs, while also leading multichannel gift marketing initiatives tailored to key customer segments.
